Never fished there myself but did a lot of trout fishing in Kentucky. Try some garlic cheese and salmon eggs. Used to use the cheese on a small treble hook size 14-24. Make sure you have the hook completely covered in the smallest amount u can. Go with 4 lb test line at the heaviest, 2 would be best. If there is current try and get your bait to the bottom with a split shot around 8-10 inches above the bait and let the split shot just tick off the bottom as it travels down stream. Be ready to set the hook as soon as u think you have a strike or the trout will have already sucked the bait in, cleaned your hook and spit it out. If u try the garlic cheese try and keep it cold, will help from throwing it off when you cast, also dip it in the water for a couple of seconds to help it set up. You can also try the small marshmallows and the small jars of trout bait made by Berkeley.
