A couple years ago I was fishing Limestone Bay (Arrowhead Landing) in the fall. I Bass Boat came charging right at me out of the creek with me paddling like a hummingbird on Redbull trying to get out of the way. I was spider rigging in my kayak where the water drops off about 18" coming out of the stump field. The water was just deep enough that the stumps were covered. When the clown was within a 100 feet of me, he finally saw me and turned hard left. Then he comes along side and started cussing about how he couldn't see me and how I shouldn't be on the water. He then jumped back on a plane and goes charging through the stump field. He made it a couple hundred yards before nailing a stump and nearly tearing the motor off. I got the enjoyment of watching him slowly limp towards Arrowhead using his trolling motor. I've decided the main lake areas just aren't worth the trouble (and risk of life) between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Too many folks without basic courtesy, skill, knowledge or common sense with too much boat and/or motor.
