When my girls were 2, they wanted to catching dad, not fishing. My solution was to find a small pond with easy access and a ton of small blue gills. Use about a 1/4-1/2" piece of worm on the smallest hook around, put it under a bobber and let them at it. When they get tired of it, quit! They'll want to go again tomorrow, but they just don't get it dad when you want to stay out there the whole time. Enjoy it fellas, they grow up fast!! My oldest gets married next month and the younger will be a Sr in college, dang where did those cute little freckle faced kids go?
