Boys I got lucky here, tornado went through 1/4 mile north of me, and traveled within 250 yards of the front of the house. No damage to our place, but prayers to the ones up the road. I was standing out on the front porch having a cigarette when I heard a low roaring rumble coming, but then it stopped and thought it may of been a big rig jake braking coming off the hill. The wind stop, trees went still, then 5-6 trees across the road started snapping, and bam, all hell broke loose, I just slowly backed into the house and watched it unfold, 20 seconds and it was over. Close one boy, close.

Glad everyone is okay. I’ve learned a few things today. Early this morning I learned that bees that get their hive torn up by a storm are real pissed off no matter how you work them and then the rest of the day I learned that I am too fat and too old to be a roofer. I actually learned something else too in that I will be changing who I have my homeowners insurance with. I won’t name, names but they’ve lost my business. Been with the same company through 3 homes since 1996.

Im sure glad I parked my boat at our shop last night.

    Glad everybody is OK.

Brad, I saw you on the evening news. Still don't know how you find a hat to fit that head :D Call ol' 3FFF Farms or whatever his handle he is. Everybody is very well pleased with his insurance and response time.

    Wiley, that's why I wasn't wearing a hat!

I wish I could show the video to my family but I can't find it on the website. When I told my wife that I got interviewed, I told her that I told the reporter that my life flashed in front of my eyes, then I saw a goat fly by, then my drawers got blowed off the clothes line. I think she believed me and I haven't told her any different. LOL

Those bees get mad when you get the honey too. I got poped a few times as a kid . My grandfather had some . Some times they are easy going and sometimes not so much
