Y’all all make it through the storms okay? It got real bad here. I don’t know if it was straight line winds or a tornado but there was 2 separate “events” about 3 minutes apart. Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt. One of our neighbors lost her mobile home and got a gash on her head but she was treated and released. We lost one barn, completely gone, and a portion of another one. Got trees down all over the place but no house damage other than probably needing a new roof. When that 2nd wind/nado came over the house I thought the windows were going to blow out. It was hailing so hard that it sounded like a crew of roofers were on the roof nailing down shingles. I know for sure that 10 of my bee hives are toast. They blew off their stands and are scattered across the pasture behind my house. Good thing is, everything lost is “material” and can be replaced. I am NOT looking forward to dealing with those pissed off bees in the morning.
Everybody else okay?

Our power is out so I’m trying to find out info with my phone. Reads like the Southside and Jacksonville areas got hammered. You Neely Henry guys okay?
No damage here. It hit north of us. We lost our house in 2014 to a nader. Don’t wish that on anyone.

I think Jacksonville was hit pretty hard. Roof on Pete Mathews coliseum has major damage, a lot of trees and power lines down, and a Dollar General tore up. Thank goodness no loss of life reported. A lot of car dealers in and around Cullman major damage to vehicles. One dealer had over 200 cars totaled.
Just saw Logan Hall roof gone. Students on spring break.
Also Birmingham Fire sending heavy rescue units to Jacksonville. Appears like most damage in North Jacksonville.
Hope everybody's safe.......
Sorry to hear that Brad ! Glad yaw are safe ! If their is anything I can do to help just let me know!
FurFlyin thanked you for this post
okay here, prayers sent for all affected.
We got absolutely nothing at my house in the madison/harvest area. No wind, no hail, no lightning, and barely any rain. I was watching Netflix and never knew anything was happening until my sister called to check on us. Hope everyone else is ok.
