    Default Wheeler 2-26

Fished Wheeler today for a few hrs, put in at harbor at 615 was on trailer before 11. Fished back in the Y and fished the stump flats. Ended up with 23 crappie total had 13 keepers. Also caught 10 stripe one LM and 1 cat fish. Caught a bunch of 6-8" Fish, so looks good for next year. Fish were scattered one here one there, lost abunch of fish just wasn't biting like they really wanted it. No real pattern i used about every color BG makes. Water was muddy with a ton off current on main river. Water temp was 60 degrees.

Great report thanks!! Looks like it will be awhile before that current calms down with the rain headed this way.

Sounds like you had a good morning. I looked when I came across the causeway about 9:30 this morning and did not see your boat. I did see a bass boat with 2 people spider rigging. Thanks for letting us know how you did.

Great report. Sounds like a fun trip! Water temp is getting about right. Now time for all the rain/run-off to moderate.
