    Default Wheeler tomorrow. Thoughts?

I am planning to go out tomorrow and fish in the Decatur area on Wheeler. I am wondering should I look for the fish back in the creeks on the tree tops or out in the shallows around the stumps closer to the river? With this snow and all the cold run-off I am wondering how it has effected the fish. I plan to make a short trip in the afternoon. Any thoughts would be appreciated...trying to put together a game plan. I may just run to Limestone and start in the creek and work back to the bay if I don't find them in the creek.

Been tough sledding from what few people I've talked to about fishing. They have been fishing flint, water was about 38 degrees I believe.

Prater, last time I was out it was 41 degres and I know it is colder now....I have something to do in the morning so I am hoping to slip off tomorrow afternoon. I would like to go up below Guntersville dam but don't have time to go that far tomorrow. Yell some time and we will go.

Ten4. We will get together before long. We're short handed at work so having to work allot. Not much time to fish or do much of anything.

I chase Crappie shallow year round, if they have nearby access to deep water, they'll be deep after the last few weeks. I'm guessing the water is in the low to mid 30's.
