Hello, good day, ive been restoring a 14ft aluminum starcraft and i found this trolling motor for 100 bucks. However its pretty long and i need some input on how to install ot or should i look fot a shorter shaft. This one ia 52in. Ive never used a foot control and once its in the water i know it shouldn't be any problems but, i am still uncertain
