Thread: Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay

I fished the North end of Limestone Bay again today. Planned an early start, but didn't get on the water till afternoon. Slower day with only four Crappie, but found a few more gills.


Beautiful day, This is looking North back up the creek. Most of this water is under 18 inches deep with multiple stumps.

Do you park at the old iron bridge?

Reason I asked I met a guy one day last week coming out with a kayak. Just wondered if it was you.

Yep, parked there and dragged my kayak over to the creek.

I thought that might be you. Was good to meet you.

I saw a couple people this afternoon. We're you fishing the deep hole from the bank or walking on the bank along the creek headed North?

This was one day last week. I was walking down the creek bed headed north.if it was you you told me the crappie had moved out of there.

Still another solid day IMO.

Nope, wasn't me that day.

There's still a few Crappie around, but they're scattered and I didn't plan to spider rig today so I only brought my casting rod.
