You talkin about the cabins at Roland Cooper? I wondered if they were booked. I went thru the campground at millers ferry a few weeks ago, man that's a pretty campground - no cabins though

That's a really good day there, my wife and I are planning on fishing there probably Saturday. I will probably put in at Roland Cooper, any advice on a creek or two near there to try the crappie ? I'm not looking for your honey hole but there is a lot of water up there and if I could eliminate some maybe we could catch a few.

Heard a good report from Pine Barron creek, fish were in 5' of water around all wood. Also got report of fish being around the "old bridge" which is in a slough just up and same side as RC. I've seen it but can't remember where exactly it is. Guy said he was catching them just like it was spring.
I also heard that the camp host and a few regulars at RC campground were reporting good catches in the main river but that they were all caught in shallow slews and they were trying to throw everyone off. Sounds unlikely but not unheard of- Good luck!
