    I've heard you can do pretty good with hair jigs real light 1/32 or 1/64 over brush piles. I've not fished it though.

    I fished it quite a bit when I lived and worked in Cullman county in the Ryans Creek area and caught most of my Crappie shooting docks and by finding brush around the docks,used to make dock owners mad but like the warden said "they may own the land but they don`t own the water.

    Laydowns are the ticket right now. That is if you can find some that are in the water. I would guess the lake is 8-10' low right now. Otherwise brush piles off the ends of boathouses.
