Smith Lake

Gonna try Smith for the first time tomorrow. Does anyone have a report from the last couple days? Water temps or color?

Been a few years since I've fished it, but we used to catch a good many. What part are you gonna be fishing?

Only managed 3 fish before I had had enough of getting blown around the lake by 20mph winds. They all came from tree tops in about 6-8 FOW on 1/8 oz. white/chartreuse jig head tipped with a minnow. If it weren't for the wind I think it would have been a better trip.

Yeah the wind was definitely bad
