Like Footballcoach said you have a good setup just get you some rod holder's and go with someone that knows. If you don't mind the drive there's lot of guys who will show you the ropes. You welcome to come with me but it's a long drive for you. I live in Anniston.

What Roger and football coach said I have been going up there and I start from pride landing, and head down to bear creek. Fishing is a little different there than here at home. I need to get a guide and learn a few new areas. Check out a few bait shops and see what information you can find, lots of times they will know where the fish are bitting. Good luck if you are down this way Weiss and Neeley Henry give me a shout out and I will help all I can.

Hire a guide ! for Pickwick I suggest Brad Whitehead, he is very knowledgable and willing to help others learn to crappie fish as far as techniques equipment and even where to fish

Thanks everyone for the help and invites! I would love to go anytime someone has a open seat! I want to learn and hopefully get to where I can catch them year round! I'll PM those who replied.

Thanks for the info! I have Brad booked for April 23rd. I'm gonna try and get out and figure out as much as I can between now and then. Gonna have a hard time waiting that long to feel the thump!

As others have said you need rod holders, reach out to Scott (call shy) on this board. He sells some really good ones.

Im no expert but I lost my fishing partner so if you ever want to go hit me up. I fish wheeler mostly but like the G and Pickwick though I have only been to these a couple of times
