I fished Cotaco Creek today from 7:30AM till around 2:30PM. Tough day, I managed half a limit with around the same number of short fish tossed back. All were caught using a black and white (tuxedo shimmer) Bobby Garland on a 1/16oz jig head, single poling laydowns and brush. Fish were everywhere from 2 to 14 feet deep, never caught more then one Crappie off a tree and most laydowns I found none. Water was clear with visibility down four to five feet and a temperature of 52 degrees at daylight.
Enjoy the day on the water, but never found a pattern or depth.
