Thread: rain

anybody fishing in this weather

ima going as soon as it lets up a little

I don't mind fishing in rainy weather , in fact prefer it in the fall and winter as long as there is no fire in the sky with it!!Lightening and me just don't get along....something about being in a metal boat with graphite rods.... HA and that is usually the problem this time of year but I think some of the down pours would sink a boat unless you got a good bilge pump running. I am on the coast this week and so far the rain has followed me as it soaked me at the fireworks and rained all day Sunday ....but a bad day at the coast/beach beats work!!! Did manage to get some nice red snapper today though but got a small shower on me doing that!! Least it kept it cool!!!
