One of my first post and new member to crappie.com. I only fish the middle part of lay lake, never fished any where else use jigs only and hole fish. The crappie on Lay seem to be about 2 weeks behind normal as far as returning to the holes. Caught about 30 crappie Saturday however they were not holding in place very long, would catch 6 or 8 in one place then move to another spot and catch 6 or 8 . Mostly in drop off areas that went from 10 feet to 20 feet. Water temp (surface) was 79 to 82. I release all fish 99 percent of the time so pics will be hard for me to post.
