    got out today from 11 to 5ish. found them in 2 feet of water on grasslines. all came off minnows, dont know why i bother carrying jigs i never use them lol

    There is a time for minnows and a time for jigs, but honestly if I did not use jigs my catch rate would reduce overall by about 90 percent. Good catch for you. My last trip out was a rough one.

    I haven't bought a minnow in years.

    There are days that live bait may work better, but I always seem to do ok and get a few.
