The yellow perch is good eating for sure. The northern perch love to hang out with crappie ,I normally catch em on minnows fishing tree tops and grassy areas.

Jack believe we saw you yesterday in that area. For some reason I thought you had a blue yak and Eric told me after you left that the white rig was yours otherwise I'd a said hello and asked you a few questions. We caught two of the biggest yellow perch there yesterday that I have ever caught on Guntersville. Crappie fishing was slow fighting all that wind. We were in the G3 Eagle anchored there along the creek channel. We had 32 keeper fish and about that many throw backs as well.

That was me in the red and white kayak. I should have brought the boat. Y'all were in the zone for sure. Slabprowler was there also across from y'all early on.

Bob I told you I have caught some really nice perch in there over the years. The spot you were in Bob has been a hot spot for a few weeks now. I started out there but the water had been coming in and sometimes the other side on the same side of the channel has been really good too. Might have been better that day if not for the wind.
