    Default 4-1-15 Guntersville report.

Since it was such a nice day out I decided to hit the water with the kayak and doba little fishing. Fished Town Creek/ Belefonte area from 11:00am to 2:00 caught 15 at or shorter then 9", a couple of drum and a lake perch. Water was rising and falling and the wind made it difficult to stay in position on the fish. Lots of boats out and most were catching fish. Didn't find a color they liked. Fish were pretty close to the bottom over the grass. Float & fly and swimming a jig above bottom worked.

I drove down to the area you fished Monday Jack about 1p.m and the place was covered up.Did not even try it, went back to 72 caught 8 nice slabs.I notice the fish I caught had worms and looked to me they were attacking the egg sacks.

So now I know who that was in the kayak. That blue bassboat in your picture is mine. We had 25 keepers.

Those perch are great eating! I always consider them a great bonus if I catch one.

I caught a very nice one there the other day. I use to catch some really nice sized ones there years back when I fished it regularly. There are some bigger ones in there

I hear they are good eating. I have thrown them back over the years.
