Planning a trip this Saturday October 4th anybody else planning on going. Was planning on putting in at the boat harbor and doing some trolling on the stump flats behind boat harbor. It has been about a month since I beenwater temp was around 85 at that time. Fished around the flats at flint creek that day with little to show. Maybe this cooler weather will have em frisky.

Well I plan to get out Friday or Saturday...have been working so much I thought I might take off Friday. Not sure where I plan on going on Wheeler. I was wondering if any fish are back up in the creeks yet. I guess it is too early. I an not set up to spider rig, so I will be single poling or trash fishing if I can't catch any Crappie.

Went on the 8th to Cotaco Creek. No one seemed to be doing much. I had a decent amount of bites but only one crappie caught. According to others fishing there, it has been hit and miss so far this fall. Water temp was 73, so maybe it is not far off.
