I’ve been out of town for a month, but got back last night and decided to make a quick trip today to see how conditions had changed. I fished Barron Fork Creek off Lake Wheeler for about three hours targeting laydowns and isolated stick ups. Tossed back 5 or 6 short fish and kept a dozen. Color didn’t seem to matter, fish struck the bait aggressively on the fall.
