Fished Weiss back in 1987 in late August with two buddies., we wore the crappie out fishing the main river channel 12 to 15 feet under the power lines drifting.We wound up catching 168 crappie in 2 days and maybe fished 6 hours each day.I bet we threw back 50+ keepers and a lot of dinks.
