    Default Logan Martin water level?

Has anyone been on Logan Martin/Coosa River since the heavy rains this past weekend. I hear the water is up high and wondering if this has affected the crappie fishing. I was there last weekend and the fish were beginning to move into the shallows. Will this high water move them back out deeper and change their feeding patterns?

Right now the water is 1.22 ft above full summer pool level. I don't know what it has done to the crappie but my guess is that they have backed out off the banks.

There are some shallow, but believe the big boys and girls have finished and moved out. Went bass fishing yesterday and played with the crappie a little. If you go this weekend make sure you dont launch until you can see. Major trash in water. Seen 30 ft trees floating around.

Well, finally had a good day on the Coosa. Water was dingy, and the wind was blowing hard, but that seemed to be when the fish turned on!! Most of the catch came from 6-10 FOW on jigs. It was a fun weekend!! Caught 85 total..hope the picture upload correctly.

Excellent job, congrats!! Were you on Logan Martin again or on another body of water on the Coosa?
