Thread: Going to see Birmingham Barons Saturday

Any of you go see any games last year? That new stadium downtown is really nice.

I went a few times last year with my girlfriend. Went last night for the home opener actually with a few folks I work with, stayed through the bottom of the 7th inning before I called it quits. The stadium is very nice, the tickets are very affordable, and every time I have been, there has always been a lot of uniformed police presence on the streets surrounding the stadium. I live in Southside of bham so it is particularly close to me. We always end up spending more on food and drinks than tickets. The view of the city from there is nice.
