Got out this afternoon for a couple of hours. Did nothing but shoot docks and pontoons. Water temps were 62-63 degrees. Fished in 6ft or less. First shot of day produced a nice, chunky, 13 incher. Probably jinxed myself...my dad always said it was bad luck to catch a fish on first cast...and it proved true. I ended up with around 12 fish...but only 4 keepers. Most came off pearl fin-s shad with a shot of spike it. Caught a few on black/chart tube...expecting things to keep getting better. Anyone else hitting the docks?

usually wait for the water to come up on logan martin before i try
Fished there Thursday morning, similar conditions. Caught most fish in shallow water casting to bank. Also caught a few in deeper water (8 to 10ft) near shallows. They are definitely headed to bed.
Good report. At least it's better than some of my recent trips. I went 3 hours without a fish a couple of trips back. Had a couple on in that time, but pretty sure they were just bass. That always get you really wondering if you're going to get anything at all in the boat.
