Go back to old threads it the southern states forums and also the main forum and you will find all kinds of information on all different kinds of techniques. All will work here, it's just what you like to do. Went back today, same lake, same 4 spots and came home with 25. Water was 56 degrees when I arrived and 60 when I left, it was muddy and rising. When I left it was beginning to go out into the swamp, by tomorrow it should be about a foot deep in the swamp and even muddier. So I think I am going again tomorrow and go south, maybe Briar creek. Water may be a little high, but it should not be muddy. They are trying to bed now and I only fish with a jig and cork, near wood and shallow. I like 3 ft. of water or less where I am fishing and it has to be near some kind of structure. That's what I do and will keep doing it until they stop bedding and then I'll change to something different.
