Everytime I think about getting a ranger or any other nice boat. I remind myself of the floating trees, stumps, piers and other crap that I have banged into while driving my tin boat.
Heck, I got a dent the size of a basketball from the time I tried to follow Scott to his favorite honey hole on Weiss!!

I can attest to usafret99's willingness to help anyone. He helped get me straight on long lining and I immediately saw results. Although I have never spoken directly to him, we recognize each others boats and I will make sure to speak with him the next time I see him in his special slough. I would like to be good enough to be followed some day
Also, RogerA has never hesitated to share any information to help someone even on tournament days. Unfortunately, like a lot of todays society, no one is willing to work for their keep.

Not that i am too proud to seek advice and maybe look for someone on the water to spy at what they are doing, but to follow a person from their house like a groupie is too desperate. If I were to stoop to that level I would not fess up when asked about it either. I would just have to lie about it.

I am coming down to Guntersville the tenth of March. Never fished the lake before does anyone know of any places to fish? Long lining or jigging? Any colors better than others? We are coming down from Ohio to hopefully some warmer weather! lol
