Size: 53.4 KB We caught 31 trolling on Guntersville. The Bassmasters were respectful of our trolling and gave us room. We returned the respect and did not troll close to where they were fishing. Color did not seem to matter but the bite did slow around lunch. We caught fish in 6-8 FOW trolling around 0.8-1.0 mph.Beautiful day on the water.

usafret99, great job. I'm in Oklahoma and not many, if any people, long line here. I would like to try it but only have some BnM BGJP poles (10'-12') and BnM doesn't recommend using them for long lining. Can you or someone advise me on these as I don't want to spend a lot until I see if I can be successful with it here in Oklahoma. Thnaks

I guess you could buy a few cheap rod holders and use your bnm poles anyway a long with bass pole s or something if you have them. When me any my buddy started years ago we bought the individual rod holders and just screwed them to a 2x4. You can do a search on here for long lining and find several posts on how to long line.
