    Default 3lb 1oz

Happy Happy Happy! I finally caught a 3lb crappie! I caught a little over fifty today and kept 25 for a fish fry and think I will get this one mounted....He weighed on my digital scale 3lb 1oz and was 17inches long.

An ungrateful man is like hog under a tree eating acorns, but never looking up to see where they come from!

Congrats, that's one nice slab. Don't blame you for getting that one mounted, I would do. Again, congrats.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I'd want it mounted too, but as a replica. Take pics, measurements, then release so she can spawn!

I am glad you posted the length, well in a way I am and in a way I am not. When I was younger i caught several big black crappie like that between 18 and 19 inches. I never weighed any and have always wished now that I had. I have not caught any like that in years, the place has fiilled in now and those slabs no longer come in there. I also do not fish as often as I did then either. Great catch man, that's a good fish. Hope you catch many more.
