been catchin 70-100 a day trolling a 1/16 roadrunner and a 1/16 lead head w southern pro blue or black and chart tail at 1 mph.

I like the blk/chart fine myself,but I think outside the box every now and again and have found some weird color combos can be lethal at times...for instance take a red head and stick a orange crush/chart hot grub on it...or a blaze orange head with a popsicle hot grub...just saying that i keep my options very open cause those darn crappie can have strange tastes sometimes

I keep my options open. I normally fish 6 rods, will start with 4 that have black and chart and something different on the other 2, then if I catch fish on them I'll slowly change them over based on the bite.

Man, you guys are fishing with a lot less colors than me. I carry over 400 different color combos in my boat when I am Crappie fishing. I have found that every color has a time and place. I have found thru the 27 years that I have been trolling that the color of jig sometimes make the difference with the size of the fish you are catching. Just a little trick I learned the hard way while tournament fishing.

Keep using just 2 or 3 colors and I will keep catching those bigger fish.
