Here a lot good about Big Bear? As low and for as long as they keep the water down I would think the fishing would not be to good but the reports say other wise???
Went to Little Bear this afternoon after church. Water temp up the creek is 51-53. Finally kept 10. You can put in at Slick Rock very easy now but it still low. If it keeps raining it will be full before you know it.

Im from Green Hill just North of Killen. We ended up with 36 keepers yesterday from a BCDA lake. We had been doing ok on Wheeler till the mud came in. Me and 1tomany had caught 209 keepers in 7 trips to Wheeler.

Have they finished working at Big Bear, that will be like a new lake if they have it backed up to full pool now. I may go up there and check it out. I had about stopped fishing in Little Bear cause that road was so bad and I had to drive such a round about way to get over there.

The work is done I think, looked like it to me. Water is not back to full pool, it's at fair winter pool I think. Looks like easy launch at Piney Point, didn't check Horseshoe, they say you can launch from there also. I'm going to check it next weekend, was going this last weekend but had to work.

I went over to Big Bear Thursday. The water was fairly clear and from 46 to 49 degrees. There was a ton of people there, well for Big Bear it was a lot especially for a week day. I caught a lot of good bass. I seen several people crappie fishing but only saw one guy catch one by me. I did catch the biggest white bass I ever caught that thing had to be 3 1/2 pounds. I thought it must be a hybrid but it didn't have the broken lines on it, then 2 guys at the ramp said they thought it was a regular stripe too.
