    Technique:
    1) a size 7 split shot 18 inches above the jig, cast to area and slow retrieve back to boat/bank
    2) 1.5in cigar float at desired length above jig, cast to area and jig and pause, jig and pause as you retrieve to the boat/bank

Nice jigs . I too am addicted to catching panfish on micro jigs .
In the past two or three years I’ve switched over to using tungsten beads on size 10 jighooks or sizes 10 and 12 streamer hooks .
Most of mine are rabbit fur tails with chenille bodies .
The tungsten beads allow me to make casts without any added weight or floats .

I wish I would tried micro jigs and tinier presentations. Should have put it all together when I had to downsize to just a 1 to 2 inch worm piece threaded onto the hook and as straight as possible. Hopefully I packed my worm ties, and hopefully I can find them.
