I joined the site in 2005. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site. Everyone is willing to help with your questions. Very knowledgeable people here. Ed "Slab" runs the best and friendliest site on the internet.

CrappiePappy and I joined around the same time but we had met on the Bill Dance board. My join date is shown as 4/14/2004 but we were members on Ed's old type website before the present one fired up. Met CP on several C.C get togethers especially Watts Bar. Billbob, Tom and I were close personal friends. We would meet at CanePole's lake house where we always had a great time. I have met several friends from MS, AR, KY,TN, AL, MO,NC and others. It has been a wonderful ride and I ,at 86, still get around to see some of my friends and fellow Crappie.com members. I know Ed personally and can say that he has the most family oriented site on the web. He always plays fare. I look for many more years following this site.

Been a while since I have been around. Looked up my last post and it was in April of 24., just before my best fishing buddy passed unexpectedly. That sure took the wind out of me. Hard to believe I haven’t been here much,if any since then. Sad to see of the passing of several members here. Got a lot of reading and catching up to do. I appreciate this forum and I don't post that much but do enjoy it. Life can be tough, lean on God.

moved from near jordan lake in nc to the mountains of westrn nc! different fishing in mountains! still trying to keep up with crappie going ons!!

Been a lurker for close to 2 years, just joined! Appreciate all the info, the friendly posts and education. Fish in Minnesota exclusively so not sure how much I know applies to warmer states???

Welcome to the sight. We have a few guys that post in the spring mostly. Occasionally ice fishing also. They have a nice small gathering every year around late May/early June. Watch for it. Good way to make a few new friends. "D"
