    Default Adventures in grilling

At various crappie camps I’ve always missed out on the fatties folks made, snooze you lose. All gone.

So I try my first, go with a pizza fattie recipe I found. For starters, way too much meat for the size of the bacon weave I made. Barely sorta got it rolled up. Ground deer, wild hog sausage, pepperoni and pizza sauce with the usual seasonings.
Even put the mushrooms and black olives it called for in. Turned out butt ugly/messy, and now it’s raining, the humidity is messing with my time to temp. It’s actually probing hotter quicker than I expected. We shall see!Name: IMG_3688.jpg

The End Shot picture changed the way I was looking at your project. I love TurDuckHens and you made a Red Meat version, Nice.

I thank I may have fallen into some kind of AI written recipe or something. The weights of the various components of the recipe and the instructions for rolling it up just sound now like something written by someone who’d never actually done it. My goal was to roll it up in thin layers, but it went sideways.
Next time it’s gonna be pressed out a lot thinner. Gonna need the whole length of our countertops to make it happen like it was supposed to! Probably going on a smaller scale will help with that.

SuperDave, you know, I didn’t even notice the shrooms in the final product. All the meat, mozzarella, and pizza sauce just completely hid them!

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
