This is not meant as a dig or to poke fun but being retired for 10 years now it’s hard to imagine being back in the daily rat race. I feel like a kid on summer vacation and it’s an endless summer.
Enjoy your time off!! I am sure it’s well deserved. May you be as lucky as me and have several years of happy healthy retirement one day.

    BON TEMPS!!

I’m in the same situation. I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to go back to work somewhere

Shoot, I’m not quite sure what I’m gonna do with myself if I ever get to that point. When I’m off too many days in a row, I start getting fidgety.
It sounds great at the beginning, then I start feeling lost.
But I’ll figure it out when the time comes hopefully. Might have to set up a mill and lathe at the house

5 more months and I'm there too! As long as my wife's finger can point, I won't run out of things to do! I plan to fish a lot for a couple of years too. Good Luck guys.

I'm sure that it feels good; I am still working Monday and Tuesday next week to cover for a few people and their vehicle programs at two different plants. Other than one vehicle, it'll be slow, so I'll be splitting in-office and VO hours, just like I am today.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
