Default Well I Had to Try Chocolate Pie

I've wanted to test my Old Timey Chocolate Pudding recipe as a pie filling for quite some time. Yesterday was the day. No write up at this time as I didn't know how it would come out. Next time I will do my usual recipe write up.

The Kick was Good from the 75 yard line on this pie. Check out the Meringue, high as Mt Everest.

Looks fabulous! For some crazy reason my wife doesn’t care for meringue.

Most likely because it is dried out from being over baked. I run a lot of sugar and this new method of making Meringue leaves it with soft peaks and a sweet creamy texture. Much different from a Meringue you would find on a pie from a store or restaurant unless it is a Pastry Shop.
