Thread: Rockville 9/25

Not much a of a fishing storing, went to Raccoon today for 3 hrs with a buddy and we caught 4 fish 3 crappie and one huge bluegill. Caught tossing jigs with twister tails, should of caught 6 or 7 more but they werent holding onto jigs, thumping them and letting go. Didnt see anyone catching anything, we got there at about 12:30 and left around 3:30. Havent got depthfinder on boat yet so hard to tell exactly were fish were holding, fished bunch of trees in deeper water plus everywhere else, bridge, points etc,using countdown method trying different depths. Dont seem to have really turned on yet. Going to get hot again now and raise water temps back up.

Without a depth finder, I'd about be fishing blind. Good thing you know Raccoon as well as you do. Really good fishing is just ahead of us.

Yeah it should be getting good before long.
