    Another point I haven’t seen mentioned is retrieve speed. With a curl tail on a b spin you can slow down and drop these down very low in the water column. Sometimes different aspects of these baits, like the flash of the blade or the action of the tail isn’t on the menu that day and they aren’t as aggressive as on other days when the planets align. I’ve taken the grub off of the spinner frame and done way better than with. I’ve also taken off the grub and put a BGBS on with better success. Point is to try everything.

    Two that I use are the "fle-fly go-go minnow in the perfect pearl color and the "Slider "one inch paddle tail in solid black on a 1/32 jig . "I never use a spinner type jig with either .

    Yes I have a bunch of them and they work really well. My quest was for the tiny 1" grub though. After fishing the Southern Pro, I find them to work really well. Price is right also!
