I thought , sure why not .....
We got a big ole gallon bag of quiche premix , cheese and eggs liquid type thing , thicker than just eggs.
So we thought why not try using it as a dredge and hope for the best ....
OH MY GOODNESS <<<<<<>>>> WOW !
That was by far the BEST baked crappie I have ever eaten , not even kidding around either ....

Will try it again FOR SURE ......![]()

the rants and raves about crispy fried fish and how great they are that way , closes one's mind to the other options out there my friend , could our fish pass for fried , certainly not , they don't have that oil thing going on when they are done and require no paper towel bedding before serving , just saying![]()

Very interesting angle, a taste would certainly be better than just a picture but the pictures deliver as expected with you. Did y'all flour the fillets before dipping in the new dredge?

We just gave them a bath in the quiche mix and set them into a bag of panko crumbs and etc and patted them down lightly and eased em onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet ,
That mix was almost pudding like in texture and really stuck to em like glue , sure did seal em off well for a crunchy outside and moist inside….right tasty stuff bro
