Thread: Drop shot gills ?

I use a bobber till about 6 ft down --- for deeper use a drop shot / tight line with 10' / 12' rod.

I have got nice gills in fall in about 18-20 feet of water just off the bottom on worm on a hook with split shot. Just fished over the edge of the boat and pay attention for a hit. No slip bobbers or anything. Similar to Ketchn post #10
