Winter sure has been clinging on here in the northeast, we had 3-4 of snow four days ago. Yesterday and today we had some nice days in the 60's, so I figured I'd wet a line this evening from the bank. I hit the waters edge at 6:45, temperature was about 50 and the sun was just starting to get low. The first six or so casts was instant success, the perch were on fire. Mama was making tacos for dinner and I knew I only had a short time so I decided not to keep any. About twenty minutes in a nice bass was on shore. A short time and a bunch of perch later one bluegill as well.
Total Talley for 55 minutes of fishing was 23 perch (all but three were keepers) one bass and one bluegill. It was a great time and a good way to start the season!

Awesome job. Sure sounds enjoyable and good start for the year.
Good trip and pics. Where were those guys a month ago?
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Great. Wish I had been there. Them perch are good eating.
