Sounds enjoyable other than the wind. Good job.

It was the warmest day of the spring so far and I was able to spend a couple of windy hours on the pond. Air temp at 78 but the water temps are still cold at 48-49. I was set up and rolling at 3 and battled the wind until I called it quits at 5. I tried to sit and cast that shallows as much as I could but still got pushed around alot. A small pickerel would open the scoring, followed by a couple of nice bluegills.
A total of 6 'gills would get some sun today, along with 3 bass like this one of about 9".
So 10 fish total on this trip. Best part of the trip was watching a bald eagle chase after a diving duck of some breed. Never caught it but it was fun to watch. I didn't realize they would go after a meal in that fashion. He then parked in a tree a long way down the lake and I eventually lost track of it. I also had an osprey make a few circles overhead near the end of my trip.
All in all, a nice couple of hours and hopefully the weather will settle down and become more spring-like than what it has been.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

I figured you would be on the water. it was a great day to go fishing.
