I'd start with this page : Lakes With Fish Attractors -

Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife

Look up Nolin and zoom in to see where the KDFWR has dropped "fish attractors" around the Moutardier Marina area. They may or may not still be there, or there may only be remnants of them left, but if the fish are already moving in to the banks at that time they may still be staging spots for the females.

Check your PM's for any other info I can come up with !!

I’ve fished for crappie on Nolin and I’d give it two thumbs up. Right now the lakes in south central Kentucky are dealing with high water and the short term forecast isn’t looking too promising. Hopefully by the time you’re scheduled to arrive things will have settled and you’ll get your string stretched and put a smile on your face. Pappy touched base with me last night but I wasn’t able to get on, but he’s given you some good advice. I highly recommend creek arms for the time you have reserved, specifically Dog Creek. Nice boat ramp with a great parking lot. Whether you long line jigs, spider rig, or pitch to brush, you’ll do well in that area. The Department of Fish & Wildlife has planted some great attractors in the area. Most of these are found on the app that Pappy provided. Shoot me a message if you have questions,

    Good Luck

Would you recommend a place to stay at a hotel or something around there where I can hook the boat up and charge my batteries at night.

There are cabins at Moutardier that are just across the parking lot from the ramp. They are all recently remodeled and have electric. I have a friend who lives a stone’s throw away whom I just spoke with and he will get me the phone number for and I’ll pass along. Nolin has a few marinas but nothing in the way of respires, that I’m aware of unless there’s an Air B & B.

So Jim, my very best advice to you is to get your deposit back and stay home.
