I left work a little early, did a couple of things at home, and I still managed a couple of hours on the water this evening until sunset. The wind was perfect, and some crappie were still eager enough to bite while trolling slowly, despite the rain that we got last night. Yeah, I didn’t even take the time to change out of my work clothes.

If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.SuperDave336, canebreaker, bigcrappiemax, S10CHEVY, wannabe fisherman, J White, Rojo LIKED above post
Love it when a quick trip works out.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Great way to end a day…..![]()

I went again this evening. 13 crappie, including a 15” weighing 2lb, 3oz. There is also a nice catfish, which might not be visible in the cooler pic. It has been tough working around the weather and kids’ schedules.

Nice! You using Livescope?
Yes, I do. While I did a little bit of single poling to see which layer of fish would chase and which ones to avoid, I caught most of these spider rigging.
