Fish the local docks for about forty five minutes late this evening.
Fishing was tough . Guess they got hit fished pretty hard all day .
Only caught three micros , a redbreast and a couple small gills on my new SeaSir Stream 5’2” ultralight rod with a 500 size Soare bb and 2# line .
The redbreast was on a micro jig , the others were caught on a micro spinner .
I wanted to go back where I fished yesterday but that was twenty minutes away , these docks are only eight minutes.

Started out at the lake where I caught a few crappie the other day and today I only managed a small bluegill in thirty five minutes so I left to check out the creek at the millpond dam.
Expecting it to be fast and high , it was , but not so fast I couldn’t catch something if I gave it a little time.
The water was fast and heavily stained . But I gave it about forty minutes of casting across the current , letting my jig drift downstream and twitching it back upstream through the slack water along the bank .
I caught four , three small gills and a small shellcracker that was the catch of 5he day on my 5’2” SeaSir UL . I paired it with a Soare XR 500spg and 2# Ande Tournament green .

I love creek fishing even though the fish are usually small .I need to get back to the creek again later on this week .

Spent an hour at the local docks today .
Caught seven including these little guys .
Probably the smallest bluegills I’ve caught this year .
Fun little bass , jumped like a snook , tail walking most of the way in .
Rod : 5’2” SeaSir Stream UL rod with a Soare bb500spg reel, and 2# Ande Tournament line .
