Not, just another fish in some circles, at least none I run around. Truley trophy fish and I wsn't thinking about what you've shared of your blessed style of ishing to be able to get in a little bank time on your lunch. Makes hauling scales a little more impractible. Would personaly drive me a little crazy not knowing the 3+ as I've been chasing that for 62+ years. No whites in my lake and my longest black was just over 18" but fish in my lake tend to be on the skinny side. The 18" didn't even make the 2.9 club. No matter GREAT fish and truely a trophy and as many has posted hat's off she still swimmin. Scott

she was/is a beauty of a white crappie , they really don't get much bigger or better in these parts on the lakes I visit , but much like my avatar fish , I let most of the really big fish go and don't carry anything other than what I need to ketch them in my pocket ... and I was sure enough lucky they had an old metal tape on that dock , someone killed the de liar board that was on the dock with something and broke half of it off the dock .
What truly drives me crazy is not I wonder what it weighed , what gets me is seeing one that size as it gets away before you get to hold it...
some of the really big crappie I have lost right before my eyes are what nightmares are made of for sure

you know my friend , it happens so fast in that spot , there isn't much to remember , if I know its a BIG crappie, it is on deck within seconds of the hook up , standing on top of them silently in 6 to 7 or even 8 foot of water with a stiff 6 footer and 8 lb test will subdue a big one right quickly if you are in the not playing around mode and, some them are so green when they hit the dock that it is very difficult to get your hand on them .
one thing for certain , a fish like that makes me smile big when it swims off after a few images

that kitty was a burner bro , on the hookset I thought it was duplicate crappie , really big crappie don't move in many cases for a split second when you stick them . that kitty was the fish right after her and for sure , right before it started to roll I thunk OMG another one .....
but after about 3 rolls it kicked in it's after burners and man did the reel scream , thought for sure it was over as ran line off my reel in all the mess down below that dock and then ,,,,I turned it and made it play nice .....
