Good report and details on the rod. Thanks for sharing

I spent about an hour and a half fishing the backwaters at the docks of my closest local water reservoir.
Most of the time was spent slimming my newest rod , a 56 UL , $45 rod from Amazon .
In the pictures and in the description, the rod looks like a TFO trout and Panfish rod. But looks is all it has in common with the TFO rods .
First , the Littma Wild Stream 56 rod is a two piece rod , the TFO is a one piece rod. Most of the description of the rod is correct except for where they claim the rod is sensitive.
I never felt a fish until the rod was bent .
The TFO rods are described as a fast action , I think theyre more a moderate fast. The Littma is a slow action IMO .
The rod reminds me the 56 Daiwa Iprimi . More noodle than I like most of the time .
It is a fun rod to fight fish on . Even a 4 bluegill will put a full bend all the way to the handle . It would be a perfect rod for jig swimming or fishing spoons and spinners . Maybe a small Beetlespin.
I did catch ten gills on it before switching to my 5 St Croix ULM , that was a lot more sensitive. I could actually feel the takes and a few tail nippers
The last twenty minutes I fished another cheap rod I bought a few years ago , a 5 Rosewood ULF rod that was the most sensitive of the three .
All together I caught 15 bluegills, a small bass and a fun size grass carp on the 5 SC Premier ULM , that put a bend into the handle . I was surprised I was able to lift the carp by the 2# Floroclear.
A fun outing .
Edit : the new rod is the light green one in the last pic with a Fuego 1000 Lt .

Guess I can’t use the word “but” . It got changed to it . Twice in the last post . “But” if I put quotation marks around it, it works .![]()
The bigger the Bend , the Wider the Grin !
I went back to the docks for about forty minutes this afternoon.
I fished with my old St Croix 56 Avid ULF , paired with a Soare bb500spg and 2# Floroclear.
An olive 4mm , .5g streamer jig was my lure .
Several people at the docks today , most of my spots were taken or there were non fisher peoples too close to where I wanted to fish .
I got to fish one side on the docks , the short side , about 75-80 of shoreline.
I managed to hook up with seven bluegills including few colored up ones . One was similar to one I caught yesterday . Definitely a hybrid .. nice colors .
Glad to see the gills moving back shallow .
BTW , I enjoyed fishing the SC Avid 56 . It has a fast enough tip , thatll itll cast a light jig well and has a nice bend even with the little ones . Fun rod .

I bought the Littma 7ft ultra light after reading your report. l like a really like a parabolic bend to the rod. almost all I have tried have been too fast. This one is as you describe, in fact the 13" black crappie I was catching actually over powered this rod. Thank you for your real world review of this equipment.

there's no such thing as a "cheap" rod if one has "confidence" in it and it catches fish!!!! Enjoyed the pics
