Weather is nuts!
Ok! Going to get into the low 60’s so how many besides me is getting boat and fishing gear ready to rock? Ddnt know how long this warm weather will last but, for the turkey hunters…I have a tom above the house gobbling up a storm and seen 4 other Tom’s together flared out strutting and this is way too early for them to go into their rut. I can see early mushrooms also. My earliest I ever picked the early black morels is March 22nd, but that was quite along time ago. Hate to see our winter weather break this early as I see us paying for it in the long run.

I have no idea, but the th early flowers are blooming n the wife’s flower garden and the honey bees have been foraging as well as everything else. Way too early as this is just the 3rd of March!

Looks like we have some pretty strong storms heading our way in Michiana this morning, but the thought of warmer weather had me thinking last night where my early spots are. I'm planning on having a banner year and an early start would be wonderful.

Well,,,,while I’m out servicing the boat and engine. Wife deciides to clean out large flower pots and pick up storm limbs and sticks. Runs across a 3 ft black snake in flower garden then couple hours later a garter snake. I tell her keep an eye out for the copper. Heads as they will want to sun also. Finally got the boat done. Needs cleaned up as alittle dusty,,but,,I’m going to wait till super warm to wash things down. Besides,,,I need to slime it more with some fish now.

Looks like they back off on some the warm temps. Still mid 50's is a good start , but the wind will offset the temps. Good week to get chores done and be ready for the hot bite around the corner.
