Slight change in plans now that I have the boat ready for fishing, I need to chain saw and clean up a heck of a mess of storm damage before I can go play!

Sorry to hear that Chuck. You guys seem to get more than your share of bad weather.

Last night..when this storm front came thru. For 10 minutes 8t hailed like all get out. Hail up to 3 inches dia in the shape of snow flakes or stars even. Never seen anything like it before. I will have to check the roof for damage,,but my 88 4 x 4 ford ranger didn’t have any damages even tho I only use the truck for firewood and deer hunting within a few miles of the house. Rav 4 was in the garage. Here’s a couple of pics of alittle of it still on the ground up to size of 50 cent piece.

Last storm over weekend, ran on generator over 2.5 days about 25 hrs without power from wind and tornados close within 15 or so miles. This time..another tornado was about 25-30 miles as crow flys. At least we are lucky for now on serious damages like others as lots of houses with tree and wind damage as well as 2 barns damaged and flattened within a mile of house. These spring storms packing a heck of a punch this season.

Last nite was radical again..and now just a hour ago..flood warnings issued for Wednesday thru Sunday with heavy rains predicted darned near each day again. Wednesday is looking like sevear line of storms coming thru again. Haven’t gotten to fish yet due to all these high winds daily as well as cleaning up constantly from storm damage..now have to repair 2 areas in roof when it warms up and drys out..have them tarp covered. Tons of people around this neck of the woods had large trees on houses, barns and vehicles. I consider myself lucky so far living in a woods with buildings surrounded by trees. I have about 1 acre of grass for yard and been constantly cleaning it up. Need to fish but don’t want to fight the whitecaps. Get used to fishing mud I guess. Any time we get out and go to town, we keep tow straps and chain saws in vehicles to clear county roads.

I'd say it's gonna be 2 1/2 - 3 weeks before I get my boat out of storage and start fishing, gonna hit lake Michigan for some coho first then had to wait till Grandson is out of school (he lives with us) to take a vacation, be camping at salomonie the last week of May for some crappie fishing.

They were saying southern Indiana and farther south could get up to 10 inches of rain on the news if I heard them right, that will sure make a mess.
