    Default Another rod on order!

Not many words or reviews has been said about a particular rod here on this forum: a Shimano Shuala. It's understandable that the esthetics are not everyone's cup of tea, or the Shuala's price for that matter, but with Shimano's own Mr. Hajime Murata at the helm heading the design team....it nonetheless a flagship rod. I'm acquiring one not because, but a "hybrid" intended usage was injected into each Shuala DNA, especially the $800 World Shuala Limited. An auction site has the travel pack rod @10% off....clearing out of 2024 inventory?? Who knows, but this Technical Edition Shimano Shuala will be epic angling experience when time comes for these little jaunts across these great states of ours from coast to coast chasing everything from trout, panfish, to some LRF off California and Florida jetties. More will come soon....

    Congrats !
It seems the Japanese have an attraction to fancy looking equipment. Especially red .
What’s the specs ? Looks like around 5’ or so.

Gillchaser, I ordered the 52ul that cast to 7g....big fan of shorter rod when comes to travel UL. Yes red a little tacky but it's Shaula signature color as early as 2018. Thanks for chiming in!

Congrats. First I’ve heard of one and it’s a looker. One of my builds was red trimmed so who would I’ve to throw stones. Very well done. And now for the sliming……

    I wasn’t saying it was tacky .
I have a couple red and black JDM rods myself.
    I like them .
I am a UGA BullDawg fan , so you know I like red and black.
I like shorter rods too for most of my fishing.
